Responsibilities
Ensuring PIRC delivers its functions in accordance with Scottish Ministers’ policies and priorities.
Providing strategic direction and providing constructive advice where necessary on governance processes deployed by PIRC.
Ensuring financial stewardship by providing robust scrutiny, challenge, and advice where necessary as well as supporting the PIRC Accountable Officer for audit purposes.
Together with the Chair provide oversight and challenge of the PIRC Key Performance Indicators and Strategic Objectives.
Requirements
Experience of organisational governance and financial management and oversight.
Effective communication skills providing constructive, influencing, and supportive challenge.
Effective analysis and collegiate decision-making skills.
