About the role
- Seeking Board Members for Governance and Risk Advisory Board of PIRC. Ensuring delivery of best practices and financial oversight while supporting the police investigation body.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring PIRC delivers its functions in accordance with Scottish Ministers’ policies and priorities.
- Providing strategic direction and providing constructive advice where necessary on governance processes deployed by PIRC.
- Ensuring financial stewardship by providing robust scrutiny, challenge, and advice where necessary as well as supporting the PIRC Accountable Officer for audit purposes.
- Together with the Chair provide oversight and challenge of the PIRC Key Performance Indicators and Strategic Objectives.

Benefits
