Development engineer in engine control unit at Traton. Responsible for concept development, implementation, testing and software functionality.
Responsibilities
As a development engineer in our unit, you will be part of all steps in the developing process i.e. concept development, implementation and testing.
You will also get the chance to work in both pre-development project as well as you will investigate and solve problems found on the current production software.
Developing new software functionality in our engine management system.
Testing your functionality in different environments, for example in simulation environment, testbed and in truck.
Continuous discussions and cooperation with colleagues all around Traton including our brand specific organisations.
As Scrum master you will be responsible for leading our weekly competence group meeting where we initiate work for all our new issues.
Together with product owners you will be responsible for setting the plans for our teams and keep track of our progress.
Improving our processes when it comes to planning, quality and delivery precision.
Requirements
You have a master of science or higher education in mechatronics, computer science, automotive or similar.
You are analytical person that like problem solving.
You are a team player that enjoy working with other people in the group but also around the whole R&D.
You are adaptable and enjoy working with both ongoing customizations and also in large future projects.
You have leading skills and can represent the group in different forums.
Experience in C-programming.
Experience in engine development.
Knowledge in Matlab/Simulink.
Experience in working as a Scrum master.
