Responsibilities
- Own and drive PR initiatives, working closely with the SEO team and copywriters to ensure our AEO strategies generate measurable impact
- Develop and execute PR strategies that align with AEO best practices to build brand authority and improve organic visibility in AI-driven search engines
- Foster relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry leaders to secure high-quality media coverage and authoritative backlinks
- Monitor brand mentions, media coverage, and online reputation, leveraging insights to optimize PR campaigns for better performance in AI search engines
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging PR strategies to enhance our authoritative presence in both traditional and AI-powered search results
- Support off-page SEO efforts, including link-building strategies that enhance search visibility and authority
- Develop and execute referral traffic–driving initiatives, leveraging partnerships, influencer collaborations, and content strategies to expand brand reach
- Leverage social search strategies, optimizing PR efforts across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest to increase brand visibility, user engagement, and organic discoverability
- Analyze and report on PR campaign performance, measuring impact on brand authority, backlinks, visibility in AI-driven search platforms, and referral traffic sources
Requirements
- Proven experience in PR, digital marketing, or a related field, with a willingness to dive into AEO and SEO principles
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively and engage with audiences, media, and AI-driven search engines
- Strong media relations skills and a track record of securing placements in reputable publications (preferred)
- Familiarity with SEO, link-building, and digital PR strategies to drive organic growth and visibility in AI-driven search environments
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt strategies to align with evolving AI search algorithms and brand positioning goals
- A data-driven mindset, focusing on tangible KPIs such as brand mentions, AEO rankings, media coverage quality, referral traffic, and the real revenue impact of PR efforts
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Confident written and spoken English – scandiweb operates internationally with clients and colleagues, therefore English is our core language
