About the role
- IT Specialist managing internal and cloud-based IT infrastructure at SCALA stage systems & services GmbH. Responsible for system administration, SaaS integration, and user support.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the entire internal and cloud-based IT infrastructure
- Design of the system landscape, from traditional administration to the introduction and integration of modern SaaS solutions
- Maintenance, support and further development of server, network and client infrastructure
- Provisioning of endpoints and servers (clients, laptops, servers), including image management
- Standardization and automation of deployment and provisioning processes
- Administration and development of the M365 environment (including Exchange, VPN, etc.)
- Ensuring IT security, system availability and backup strategies
- Preparation and configuration of server systems and operator terminals for customer projects
- 1st- and 2nd-level support for internal users
- Conducting user training
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and process descriptions
- Selection, integration and configuration of new SaaS solutions
- Advising and supporting business departments in the digitization of operational processes
- Building and optimizing automated workflows via APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP)
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field
- Experience administering Windows/Linux systems, networks and clients
- Optional: experience with SaaS implementation, ideally in an SME environment
- Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, C#, Node.js or TypeScript is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with API interfaces (REST, SOAP, Webhooks)
- German & English: at least B1 level, spoken and written
- Independent, structured working style and a desire to work in a team
- Strong communication skills and willingness to act as a liaison between IT and business units
