Travel Manager at Crusoe, overseeing and optimizing global travel program for a tech company. Driving compliance, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
Responsibilities
Administer and manage Crusoe’s corporate travel platform, including system configuration, user support, approval workflows, and reporting
Ensure adherence to company travel policies by monitoring, addressing, and providing clear guidance of out-of-policy activity.
Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related questions, escalations, and urgent travel needs.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, People, and Security to align travel practices with budget controls and duty-of-care standards.
Manage relationships with travel vendors relationships and key vendors to ensure smooth operations and competitive pricing.
Track and report on travel spend, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to drive cost efficiency and compliance.
Establish and track key travel program metrics (policy compliance, savings, adoption rates) and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability as the company grows.
Maintain clear documentation, FAQs, and employee communications related to travel policies and processes.
Requirements
5+ years of experience managing or administering a corporate travel program
Direct experience working within a corporate travel platform (e.g., Navan, Concur, TravelPerk, etc.)
Experience enforcing travel policies and confidently addressing out-of-policy bookings
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing high-volume bookings and reporting
Comfort operating independently while escalating appropriately to leadership
Data-oriented mindset with experience tracking spend and identifying savings opportunities
Clear, professional communication skills and a customer-service approach balanced with policy accountability
