About the role
- Technical Analyst providing IT support and managing networks at Inspired education group. Responsible for network management and technical support for staff and students.
Responsibilities
- Network, servers and asset management:
- Maintain servers;
- Configure and install new network equipment, ensuring network documentation is kept up to date;
- Monitor networks, reviewing logs and physical devices;
- Add, maintain and remove users in the corporate network environment;
- Maintain and update the school’s ICT asset list/inventory.
- Technical support:
- Provide technical support to students and staff, diagnosing and resolving technical issues across a range of technology (laptops, projectors, information systems, servers, etc.) to ensure hardware and software operate correctly;
- Prepare IT equipment for use;
- Perform routine preventive checks to ensure equipment and solutions are functioning as intended;
- Provide support and service for the school’s mobile telephony and VOIP systems;
- Maintain regular contact with school teams to proactively verify that technology solutions are working as expected.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Computer Networks, or similar);
- Experience providing IT technical support; familiarity with client operating systems Windows (Windows Server 2012 or later), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, File Server, Print Server, and networked devices (printers, scanners, Wi‑Fi);
- Basic knowledge to manage firewall rules;
- Skills in hardware and software installation and configuration;
- Intermediate English.
- Experience working in schools or educational projects is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Meraki, FortiGate, Ubiquiti or MikroTik architectures is a plus;
- ITIL certification or similar in computer networking or projects is a plus;
- Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus;
- Advanced English is a plus.
