About the role

  • Analyst role supporting management consulting projects to drive health care transformation across clients. Collaborating with teams, managing deliverables, and researching public policy issues.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with team members managing a wide range of client projects and deliverables.
  • Conducting regular scans for new business opportunities and coordinating proposal development in response to Request For Proposals.
  • Researching, tracking, and monitoring emerging public policy issues.
  • Conducting research and drafting deliverables including reports, slide decks and briefing notes.
  • Supporting the development of stakeholder maps and engagement strategies, including conducting secondary research, setting up interviews, taking notes and other related tasks.
  • Developing and maintaining project management plans and keeping the project team focused on meeting multiple, tight timelines.
  • Providing administrative and logistical support including scheduling and coordinating meetings and interviews.
  • Synthesizing information and developing materials that are suitable for a number of audiences.
  • Identifying key stakeholders and creating tailored stakeholder lists.
  • Assisting in executing stakeholder engagement activities, including interviews, focus groups and workshops.
  • Preparing background materials, agendas and meeting summaries.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education is required.
  • Post-graduate training is considered an asset.
  • Project Management experience or certification is highly desired.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in consulting, research, policy or a related field.
  • Knowledge of public policy and politics in Ontario and across Canada.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health policy and the political system is a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with high standards for accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Independent, proactive and resourceful with a strong work ethic.
  • High-level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and graphic design skills an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work weekends or evenings.
