About the role

  • Lead Analyst driving financial forecasting, project governance, and compliance at Johnson & Johnson. Collaborating on financial planning and providing leadership in healthcare innovation finance.

Responsibilities

  • lead discussion and processes with project managers to ensure adherence of project costs vs plan and develop accurate financial forecast
  • develop financial model and scenarios to assess business cases like cash flow analysis (NPV, IRR) and P&L forecasts
  • ensure all project accounting and reporting activities are in line with compliance requirements
  • ensure adherence to financial processes, controls and targets in order to deliver the overall program applying J&J procedures and best accounting practices
  • collaborate on financial planning activities following franchise calendars and processes
  • assist in developing and communicating detailed project budgets, analysis and executive summary projections to senior leadership
  • lead discussions on identifying and presenting critical insights regarding project goals, opportunities & risks and mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • build strong cross-functional and cross-franchise partnerships across all levels within supply chain, finance, regulatory, R&D, marketing and commercial to collect and challenge assumptions, model scenario implications and influence business decisions
  • assist in driving the prioritization and implementation of financial processes and systems to enable day 1 and ongoing site business activities
  • provide coaching, guidance and support to assist employees reach their full potential through the performance management and talent development process

Requirements

  • a minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in accounting / finance
  • advanced degrees / certifications such as a CPA, CMA, PMP or MBA / Masters are preferred
  • a minimum 4 years of finance or accounting experience required
  • experience designing, implementing, and managing processes / tools in a global organization is required
  • driven to achieve results and demonstrating hands-on approach
  • experience leading project timelines and milestones in complex business environments is required
  • demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work in ambiguous situations is required
  • pro-active in connecting and energized to collaborate across functions
  • strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently present complex information is required
