About the role

  • Project Coordinator supporting project managers by overseeing administrative tasks and communication for Sanlam's investment solutions. Coordinating resources and documenting project meetings in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in planning and executing projects by managing schedules, budgets, and documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals
  • Coordinate the availability of resources and materials needed for project tasks, ensuring that all team members have what they need to succeed
  • Organize and participate in project meetings, documenting minutes and action items to keep the project on track
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, proposing solutions to mitigate them and ensuring that the project remains on schedule and within budget

Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 3- 5 years in project coordination in an Agile software development environment
  • Qualifications in Project Management, and/or Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • Proficiency in project finance management is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
