Project Manager II managing multiple projects in ISR and aviation with SNC. Leading teams and ensuring successful project completion within specifications and timelines.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects or a larger project, overseeing all phases from proposal development to project closeout.
Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and identify appropriate resources.
Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate facility and workspaces.
Coordinate with onsite facility teams, IT, and security.
Ensure program facility requirements and accreditation needs are met.
Completes Control Account Manager (CAM) assignments according to program's Earned Value Management System (EVMS) description document.
Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
Communicate project status with senior project managers, functional area managers, or program managers.
Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators.
Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
Ensure timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to schedules.
Remain agile and flexible to adapt to frequent changes in project requirements or scope.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
4+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management (EVM).
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team.
Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret US Security Clearance.
