About the role
- Controller responsible for financial reporting and performance analysis at SAMSIC, an international facility management company. Collaborating with finance teams to enhance reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare and further develop the monthly reporting
- Monthly reporting to the parent company in France
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management meetings and international committees
- Analyse and interpret financial KPIs and prepare variance and performance trend reports
- Budget planning, forecasting and preparation of ad-hoc analyses
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure consistent and accurate data preparation
- Monitor and analyse progress against financial targets and help continuously optimise controlling and planning processes
- Conduct profitability analyses and investment appraisals
- Project work in the area of controlling
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling/Finance or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in an international environment
- Strong experience in reporting and preparing presentations for international stakeholders
- Excellent Excel skills and confident use of common ERP and BI systems
- Very good German and English skills; French is an advantage
- Analytical thinking, a precise, structured and solution-oriented way of working, and a strong numerical aptitude
- Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial relationships clearly
- High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
