About the role

  • Physiotherapist providing evidence-based care in a busy Acute setting at University Hospital Geelong. Involvement in supervision, service improvement, and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective and evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning for Acute inpatients
  • Independently manage a designated clinical caseload within a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, teaching and support to junior staff and students
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement activities and designated portfolios
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, data collection and use of health information systems

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
  • Clinical experience consistent with a Grade 2 Physiotherapist under the relevant Enterprise Agreement
  • Demonstrated ability to practice independently within an Acute clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice and evidence-based care
