About the role
- AFD360 Solution Engineer guiding customers to operationalize Data + AI + Trust. Working in regulated industries to shape and execute activation plans with a focus on measurable value.
Responsibilities
- Design and run workshops, demos, and time-boxed POCs/pilots
- Lead deep technical + business discovery
- Build secure, scalable Agentforce + Data Cloud solutions
- Drive activation—partner with customers
- De-risk the path to value
- Serve as an expert technical overlay for internal teams and customers
- Evangelize Agentforce enablement across REG
- Work closely with Product, FDE, and AI SMEs
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities
- Monitor early consumption/performance
- Own a crisp POC→production transition
- Build reusable accelerators and enable others
- Drive Voice of the Customer into Product
- Represent Salesforce at customer/industry events
Requirements
- 7+ years customer-facing solution/technical architecture (pre-sales, consulting, implementation)
- Hands-on Agentforce (AI) and Data Cloud builder
- Agentic + AI fluency
- Deep discovery + MVP scoping
- Enterprise data/integration fundamentals
- Executive + technical communication
- Proven POC/pilot leadership
- Growth mindset
- Deep Data Cloud specialization (preferred)
- Strong engineering depth: Apex and Lightning Web Components (or equivalent)
- SQL and/or Python proficiency
- Experience with other agent platforms (e.g., Gemini/Agentspace)
- Regulated industry background: HLS and/or FINS experience strongly preferred.
- Salesforce certifications (AI Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, Admin/Advanced Admin, App Dev)
