Responsibilities
Serve as the primary finance partner to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and other marketing executives, offering strategic financial insights and recommendations.
Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes for the entire marketing organization.
Develop and implement financial models to evaluate marketing program effectiveness, including ROI and LTV/CAC analyses.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and forecasting methodologies.
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure team members achieve their full potential.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing variances against budget and forecast.
Present financial findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience
MBA or CPA preferred
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, with at least 5 years specifically in a Marketing Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leadership role.
Proven experience managing a team of 5 or more finance professionals, ideally a team of 10 or more.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced skills in Excel and experience with enterprise-level ERP and financial planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Anaplan).
