About the role

  • Lead Back End Engineer developing Salesforce's digital experiences with best-in-class technology. Responsible for architecture, design, implementation, and testing strategies of scalable systems.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the technical vision and unlock best-in-class capabilities
  • Serve as the technical leader, providing solution guidance
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define product roadmaps
  • Drive the design and architecture of complex technical solutions
  • Design, build, test, and deliver scalable services
  • Innovate Agile and DevOps processes
  • Evaluate and advocate for cutting-edge tools
  • Elevate the technical strength of the engineering organization

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proficient in modern software architectural principles
  • Experience developing back-end software with Typescript and Node.js
  • Experience in building scalable applications based on micro-service architecture with AWS (preferred)
  • Experience with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, AppSync, SNS, SQS, OpenSearch, ElastiCache etc.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases - DynamoDB, Graph databases (Neo4j, Neptune, etc)
  • Experience with web security, including JWT lifecycle management, CORS, CSP, and XSS prevention
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A related technical degree required.
