Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications using TypeScript with Playwright and WebDriverIO
- Implement and evolve test approaches across functional, regression, integration, UI, performance, and load testing layers
- Integrate and maintain automated tests within our CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
- Analyze performance testing using JMeter and proactively identify bottlenecks
- Own test case traceability using Xray and drive release testing from inception through delivery
- Serve as a technical go-to person for automation and tooling
- Support observability, diagnostics, and issue triage in production environments alongside DevOps and Product teams
- Test data-warehouse and analytics pipelines, reviewing transformations and metric logic
- Perform data-quality validation
- Collaborate with data engineering on data contracts
Requirements
- 8+ years in QA
- 3+ years as an SDET with demonstrated senior-level ownership of automation and delivery
- Expertise in automated testing and framework design
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Experience in Playwright and Selenium (or equivalent)
- Strong experience with REST API testing
- Hands-on performance and load-testing experience using JMeter
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience integrating automation into GitHub Actions or equivalent
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience validating complex datasets
- Experience with BDD/Gherkin
- Familiarity with tools such as Xray, GitHub, Azure DevOps, SonarCloud, DataDog
- Fluency with AI-assisted engineering tools
