About the role
- Test Engineer developing and implementing test methodologies for semiconductor products at NXP. Collaborating on robust test strategies to ensure quality and manufacturability in high-volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Drive the definition, development, and implementation of test methodologies and strategies for new semiconductor products and technologies.
- Assure an optimized test solution development with comprehensive test programs for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
- Conduct extensive product characterization, performance analysis, and corner case testing to ensure product robustness.
- Lead test data analysis to identify yield detractors, collaborating with design and manufacturing teams.
- Support failure analysis activities by providing detailed test data for root cause identification.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, procedures, and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (e.g., 8+ years) in Product Engineering or Test Engineering.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and digital/analog/mixed-signal circuit design principles.
- Proficiency in developing test programs for ATE platforms (preferred: Advantest V93000 SMT8).
- Strong debug and troubleshooting skills for silicon and test hardware.
- Experience with statistical data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for test automation and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
