About the role

  • Associate Director & Counsel in aerospace and defense providing transactional support and negotiating agreements. Leading regulatory compliance and stakeholder communications while managing P&L.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transactional support across all aspects of the P&L
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements with customers and airframers globally
  • Provide program support
  • Advise on regulatory compliance and communications with various stakeholders
  • Support business needs through ability to travel and have significant on-site presence in East Hartford, Connecticut

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)
  • 10+ years of relevant legal experience
  • 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm with commercial transactions, M&A, or strong litigation experience
  • Good standing with a state bar association and in-house counsel registration following hire
  • U.S. Citizen
