About the role
- Senior Associate in RSM’s Advanced Analytics and AI Consulting practice. Delivering end-to-end AI and analytics solutions through data, machine learning, and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with RSM’s Advanced Analytics and AI Consulting team to design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI models using Python, R, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure AI Services
- Support Generative AI and AI Agent projects, contributing to prompt design, data preparation, and model evaluation
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and build features to support model training and business insights
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with data and AI solution design
- Develop data pipelines and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse
- Build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to communicate results effectively
- Contribute to project documentation, quality assurance, and testing, ensuring accuracy and scalability of deliverables
- Work collaboratively across teams, including Data Engineering, Digital Services, and Advisory, to deliver holistic client outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, machine learning, or business intelligence solution development
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis
- Demonstrated experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred)
- Familiarity with Azure cloud data services such as Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, and Analysis Services
- Working knowledge of SQL and data integration processes
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting environment
- Passion for using AI and advanced analytics to solve real business problems
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure OpenAI Service (preferred)
- Experience with Copilot Studio (preferred)
- Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns (preferred)
- Experience with data modeling and modern data architectures (preferred)
- Familiarity with MLOps, model evaluation, or model monitoring (preferred)
- Experience working in cross-functional consulting teams or client-facing projects (preferred)
