About the role

• DevOps Engineer at ROSE Bikes collaborating on cloud infrastructure and e-commerce solutions. Focused on integrating applications and enhancing cross-functional WebShop teams with efficient processes.

Responsibilities

• You support our cross-functional WebShop teams in integrating existing and new applications while actively passing on your in-depth expertise to team members
• You ensure that our systems and services run smoothly from the local development environment, through the CI/CD pipeline, to live production
• You actively help design and implement our short- and long-term cloud strategies
• Together with our service provider, you are responsible for the continuous expansion of our monitoring and alerting systems
• You actively advance our DevOps processes, tools and system architecture
• You will also occasionally work with our on-premise infrastructure and support the integration of hybrid system landscapes

Requirements

• At least a successfully completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• You already have some experience in cloud and DevOps and a deep understanding of the underlying concepts and technologies
• Knowledge of common e-commerce technologies and architectures
• You are passionate about complex systems and tasks and enjoy solving them as part of a team
• Initial experience with tools from the CNCF landscape is desirable
• You have a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform and Helm
• You are familiar with PHP and PHP-based applications
• You speak fluent German and English (C2 in spoken and written)
