About the role
- Bikepool & Event Coordinator managing bike readiness and support for events in a dynamic team. Ensures bikes are maintained and prepared for events with focus on quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical maintenance, upkeep and operational readiness of the entire bike pool (event and loan bikes)
- Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs and coordinate major service work with OEM partners
- Document the technical condition of all bikes and manage distribution, returns and inventory (bikes, accessories, tools)
- Prepare and stage bikes for events, including providing the event team with clear information about each bike's condition
- Assist with onsite coordination of individual events and plan transport, storage and availability
- Identify and report potential shortages early to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Completed technical training, ideally as a bicycle mechatronics technician or certified bike mechanic
- Practical experience working with high-quality bikes
- Structured, careful and proactive working style
- Strong focus on quality and safety
- Excellent communication skills and customer-service orientation
- Team player with flexibility and a hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel and a Class B driving license
