About the role

  • Team Lead driving BI and Data Analytics at Rockwell Automation, ensuring data-driven decision making and operational excellence through advanced analytics and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute BI strategy to support enterprise reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI, SQL, SharePoint, and Data Lake.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across all platforms.
  • Apply best practices for data visualization and storytelling to enable actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of QuickBase is preferred, along with experience in designing and delivering web-based applications using QuickBase configurations, Actions, Webhooks, Automations, Pipelines, and Integrations.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, jQuery, Jinja), RESTful API integrations, OAuth, token-based authentication, and testing methodologies (System, Unit, End User, Blackbox & Integration) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of automation using Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Implement and manage enterprise Data Lake solutions for centralized scalable data storage.
  • Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval processes for analytics and AI workloads.
  • Ensure secure and efficient integration of Data Lake with BI tools and cloud platforms.
  • Manage multiple analytics projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Develop project plans, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of measurable outcomes.
  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of BI tools and data-driven culture.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify analytics opportunities and align priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and promote data literacy across the organization.
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Champion digital transformation through modern data platforms and cloud technologies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by exploring emerging trends in BI, Data Lake, and AI.
  • Optimize workflows and reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or related leadership roles
  • Expertise in QuickBase, Power Platform (Power BI, Power App, Power Automate), SQL, SharePoint, Data Lake
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Proven track record in managing complex BI projects and driving measurable outcomes
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in visualization and collaboration tools (Power BI, Miro, Visio, MS Office Suite)
  • Knowledge of data governance, lifecycle services, and ERP integration (preferred)
  • QuickBase Certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Certification
  • Certified Data Management Professional
