About the role
- Quality & Compliance Lead at Rockwell Automation driving QMS and quality initiatives in India. Engaging in quality improvements, audits, and compliance management across engineering and operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end deployment, maintenance, and governance of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable standards.
- Design, implement, and evolve quality processes and testing protocols, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
- Understand and integrate cross-functional systems and enterprise-wide processes, ensuring QMS is harmonized with broader organizational workflows.
- Own quality planning, monitoring, and reporting, including the development of KPIs, dashboards, and executive summaries to track performance and compliance.
- Plan, facilitate, and report on internal quality audits, investigations, and CAPA activities.
- Oversee document control and lifecycle management, ensuring version control, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action planning, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues and systemic risk mitigation.
- Maintain ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) through rigorous internal controls, audit readiness, and continuous alignment with evolving standards.
- Manage external audits and customer quality assessments, serving as the primary liaison and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Champion automation and digital transformation of QMS processes, leveraging tools to enhance traceability, efficiency, and data integrity.
- Mentor and train teams on QMS principles, tools, and compliance expectations, building quality capability across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering or Quality related.
- Prior experience in quality management.
- Overall, 8 to 12 years of experience in quality management, engineering or project management.
- Excellent traceable knowledge in one or several of the areas Quality Management, testing methodology and project management.
- Fluent English language skills (reading & writing).
