About the role
- Proposal Lead ensuring seamless coordination between Regional Proposal Team and GEBS Engineering Team at Rockwell Automation. Responsible for engineering proposal development with scope clarity and estimation validation.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring seamless coordination between the Regional Proposal Team and the GEBS Engineering Delivery Team.
- Developing accurate, aligned, and executable engineering proposals.
- Creating a single point of accountability for scope clarity, estimation validation, forecasting, and use of standardized tools.
- Reporting to the Manager - Proposal Engineering.
- Leading Sub‑Regional/GEBS Scope Agreement process for every assigned proposal.
- Reviewing and validating GEBS Engineering Delivery Team's estimation, checking for completeness, effort logic, and alignment with customer requirements.
- Providing accurate forecasting of upcoming proposals to GEBS Engineering, including win probability, estimated workload, technical complexity, and expected delivery timelines.
- Maintaining organized documentation for scope agreements, estimation validations, and forecasting logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or related).
- 10 years and above experience in Proposal Engineering, Cost Estimation, Project Engineering, or Technical Coordination roles.
- Strong understanding of engineering estimation and project scoping practices.
- Strong understanding of engineering estimation methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation, controls, or process systems engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering estimation tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
