About the role
- Delivery Consultant supporting customers in EMEA region for Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform. Responsibilities include implementation, consulting leadership, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Provide multi‑faceted services for customers including new implementations, solution optimization, packaged services, and expansion projects.
- Engage in customer kick-off meetings: review project expectations, deliverables, and training timelines.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal team members.
- Monitor and deliver to an agreed project plan and implementation timeline.
- Gather and document accurate requirements for software configuration to meet the true business needs of the customer.
- Gather information, research and manage customer support requests from creation to completion.
- Communicate appropriate options for resolution and status in a timely manner.
- Manage timelines and deliverables with internal departments and customers.
- Conduct workshops.
- Implement and test software configurations.
- Design and support integrations between MES and PLCs, ERP systems, and shop‑floor devices.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to define data mapping and communication flows.
- Support data acquisition, machine connectivity, and real‑time data flows.
- Participate in testing and validation of integrated solutions.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
- Provide on-site support at go-live events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Citizenship of European Union member state.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
- A valid driving license.
- 5+ years of experience within the manufacturing industry / operations and experience implementing an MES solution preferred.
- 2+ years of consulting experience in implementing software solutions preferred.
- IT and automation background supporting MES–PLC integration, data flows, and SQL reporting preferred.
- Experience with SQL for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis preferred.
- Basic understanding of industrial automation concepts (PLC, machine data collection) preferred.
- Expertise in integration between MES and ERP, API management concepts preferred.
- Experience with Boomi integration software preferred.
- Experience configuring software to meet customer requirements preferred.
- Experience testing and validating software configurations both internally and with clients preferred.
- Prior experience with Plex software preferred.
