- Group Director leading Safety Analytics and Reporting at Roche, ensuring high-quality evidence generation and adherence to global safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- provide strategic leadership, expertise and oversight for safety data science
- ensure high-quality evidence from safety databases and literature
- lead the global SAR function across Basel, Welwyn, and South San Francisco
- drive the evolution of innovative evidence generation and analytical data science
- ensure safety analysis adheres to global regulations and policies
- oversee recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of SAR resources
- partner with key stakeholders
Requirements
- advanced degree in Data Science, Quantitative/Natural Sciences, or qualified health professional
- 10+ years of experience in PV/safety, clinical data, or pharmacoepidemiological analysis
- 5 years of people leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience with drug safety databases
- expert-level knowledge of the drug development lifecycle
- hands-on mastery of statistical analysis and medical data reporting
- strategic understanding of AI-based approaches like LLMs and Neural Networks
- fluent in English (German is a plus)
