Responsibilities
Manage local financial operations based on the needs of the functional line and the actual situation of the local unit, ensuring alignment with overall objectives
Be deeply involved in local financial operations, including but not limited to: managing day-to-day operating expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgets; overseeing cash flow planning, forecasting and reporting; and implementing effective cash flow controls
Lead the local unit's budgeting and financial forecasting processes and periodically produce accurate reports analyzing financial performance
Regularly (monthly, quarterly, and annually) report financial data, operational results, and key performance indicators to FHO’s finance department, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and transparency in reporting
Serve as the primary point of contact for financial management and post-investment communications between the local entity and FHO, facilitating effective coordination of financial operations, budget execution variances, key projects, and other relevant financial matters
Continuously optimize internal financial processes and control systems to ensure all operations comply with local regulations, audit requirements, and internal authorization and control standards
Support the finance team in completing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and in preparing management reports that meet FHO requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Professional accounting certifications such as CPA or ACCA are desirable
At least 5 years of experience in financial control or related areas, with extensive experience in local financial management
Proficiency with financial management systems and MS Office (especially Excel), with strong data processing and analysis skills
Excellent communication skills in Chinese, English, and Portuguese, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written reports and verbal discussions
