About the role
- Controller responsible for site controlling, budgeting, and compliance in the finance department at Heraeus. Collaborating with management to ensure profitability and compliance.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for precious metals controlling as well as in‑house orders and processing for Argor‑Heraeus SA in Switzerland.
- You are accountable for site controlling and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and internal requirements.
- Establishment of a cost center structure for the site.
- Preparation of the annual budget in close coordination with the Managing Director and the Head of Finance.
- Determination of monthly results, monitoring and development of proposals for performance/result management.
- Conduct profitability analyses and prepare decision papers for management.
- Invoice verification for suppliers and review of transport costs, including recharges to customers.
- Coordination and documentation of complaints, PM incidents and EHS incidents.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on Finance / Controlling
- Several years of professional experience in site or production controlling; experience in the precious metals sector is an advantage
- Very strong analytical skills, confident numeracy, and solid knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (SAP & Qlik advantageous)
- Strong communication skills and good command of English
- Independent, structured working style, high attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
