Supplier Quality Manager responsible for supplier quality and performance in mechanical processing at RENK in Germany. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
Responsible for qualifying, developing and continuously improving supplier quality and performance
Reduce quality costs within the assigned material groups
Support supplier inquiries, RFx processes and supplier selection
Support and develop suppliers on site (onsite)
Approve materials during project execution based on defined milestones
Conduct regular audits as lead auditor to ensure and improve quality
Work closely with Purchasing, Design/Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing
Continuously analyze and optimize internal and external processes
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
3–5 years' experience in supplier quality, preferably in mechanical engineering or the automotive industry
Proficient in SAP and MS Office
Certified auditor for VDA 6.3 and ISO 9001; AQAP 2110/2310 qualification desirable
Knowledge of quality planning methods (e.g., APQP, QFD, FMEA)
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Willingness to undertake regular international travel
