About the role
- Financial Analyst providing financial expertise and recommendations for performance across Large Law at RELX. Supporting management decisions and financial planning in a global organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide stewardship and expertise for all financial aspects of performance across the Large Law organization.
- Advise and influence key management decisions.
- Support investments in technology, acquisitions or product roll outs.
- Provide timely, actionable financial recommendations.
- Advise on business planning assumptions and trade-offs.
- Identify areas of financial performance that merit analytical investigation.
- Develop excellent relations with the Large Law Leadership Team and Business Partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a financial role (essential)
- Financial Degree or Diploma, MBA or advanced business degree
- Excellent knowledge of financial and management accounting
- Experience of achieving results in an international environment
- Knowledge of financial technical accounting standards
- Robust knowledge of financial processes and metrics
- System knowledge: Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint (intermediate) Hyperion, PeopleSoft (or equivalent systems)
- Ideally experience in LexisNexis /Industry comparator.
