About the role

  • Commercial Development Manager for DYNAMIS, an organic fruits and vegetables distributor in France. Responsible for market development and client relationship management with a focus on bio-agriculture.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new development opportunities, in coordination with management, in France and for export.
  • Conduct regular market monitoring (products, trends, competitors) and use commercial data to guide actions.
  • Develop and present commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries with responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Maintain regular client follow-up (field visits, calls, digital follow-up) to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare market studies, identify potential markets and enable the company to enter them.
  • Attract new clients/consumers by implementing innovative strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and deadlines.
  • Participate in implementing marketing activities (trade shows, promotional operations, e-mailing campaigns).
  • Provide accurate and regular reporting of commercial activity.
  • Collect and analyze revenue figures for different client channels.
  • Manage prospects through to conversion into active clients.
  • Ensure correct implementation of promotions and commercial operations.
  • Provide clients with all necessary information (products, prices, catalogs, samples…).
  • Contribute to cross-functional commercial development projects.
  • Organize sales meetings and prepare minutes.
  • Support clients in their product knowledge of fruits and vegetables to provide advice and highlight our products according to market trends.
  • Report to management all information useful for steering the activity.
  • Ensure smooth and constructive communication with purchasing, sales and logistics teams.

Requirements

  • Education in business and/or negotiation
  • Significant experience in the fruit and vegetable trade
  • Proven experience as a salesperson
  • Strong knowledge of fruits and vegetables: names, varieties, quality, pricing and seasonality
  • Proficient with IT tools (Word, Excel, Sigem…)
  • Basic knowledge of organic specifications/standards (cahier des charges Bio)
  • Excellent command of English
  • Ability to prospect, develop and retain a diversified client base
  • Build commercial proposals in line with company strategy (margins, profitability…)
  • Analytical and synthesis skills
  • Implement effective commercial/sales techniques
  • Manage and follow projects with method and organization
  • Establish trusting relationships with clients
  • Mastery of sales, negotiation and prospecting techniques
