About the role

  • Legal assistant managing documentation and supporting legal team in a law firm. Responsible for organizing legal papers and collaborating on administrative tasks within the legal department.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for organizing and making documents and evidence available, ensuring correct attachment and updating in internal and client systems.
  • Handle the processing of withdrawal orders (mandados de levantamento), register case information, and track deadlines, providing direct support to the legal team.
  • Draft simple petitions/pleadings based on standardized templates, follow up on calculation requests, and contribute to proper case closure.
  • Perform administrative routines related to judicial and extrajudicial appointments and commitments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Participate in maintaining ISO 9001 and quality management, identifying improvements and supporting audits.
  • Act responsibly in data protection and information security, ensuring integrity and compliance in the processes under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • Law degree (completed or in progress)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Internship experience in public institutions, law firms, or related organizations
