Senior Account Manager leading strategic sales efforts within healthcare for American Red Cross. Building relationships, negotiating contracts, and expanding hospital accounts across Kentucky.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of hospital accounts generating approximately $30M in revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical leaders and C-suite executives.
Educate clients on Red Cross products, services, and value propositions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within and beyond the current customer base.
Lead contract negotiations and renewals to ensure long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Provide guidance and support to volunteers as needed in support of hospital engagement.
Travel to assigned hospitals and prospects at least 3 days per week.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; a background in science or healthcare is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in healthcare sales, clinical services, or a related field.
Experience selling to hospitals, pharma, or medical device companies is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both clinical and executive audiences.
Proven ability to absorb and communicate technical information effectively.
Collaborative, analytical, and results-driven mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; ability to manage data and reporting.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
