About the role

  • Claims Accountant responsible for claims-related financial transactions and compliance within Reckitt. Engaging with stakeholders and providing insights into claims performance and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Record, reconcile and monitor claims-related financial transactions
  • Engage with customers, internal Reckitt stakeholders to obtain necessary information and proof of performance to settle claims
  • Bi-weekly reports on claims tracking and performance for senior leadership review
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and Reckitt internal accounting policies
  • Maintain strong internal controls over claims accounting
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries
  • Investigate variances and trends in claims data to help drive process improvement
  • Provide financial insights to support claims management and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve claims processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • 1-3 years experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to claims, insurance or risk management
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in SAP preferred, advanced Excel skills required
