Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of fleet electrical projects (CAPEX)—from concept development through execution, testing, and closeout.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations across multiple vessels and ship classes.
Manage dry‑dock and in‑service project packages, ensuring readiness, schedule adherence, and safe execution in close collaboration with Marine Technical Operations.
Ensure seamless coordination across Marine Technology, onboard engineering teams, Supply Chain, Fleet Captains, Ship Managers/Fleet Directors, and external partners.
Drive proactive risk management, operational impact assessments, and contingency planning for shipboard environments.
Translate operational and regulatory requirements into clear technical scopes, engineering specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Requirements
Background in Electrical, Electronic, and Power Engineering.
Over 15 years of experience in the shipping industry, classification society, or similar.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field (or international equivalent) highly desirable.
Experience as a passenger vessel Chief Electrical Engineer preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a multicultural environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
Financial acumen, including cost efficiency management.
