About the role

  • Marketing Specialist managing targeted buyer demand campaigns for company based in Breda, Netherlands. Collaborating with various teams to optimize marketing strategies and grow customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze performance metrics to assess deficiency on demand, and proactively manage an iterative process with marketing organization for improving conversion based on observed performance.
  • Drive national, regional, and local marketing plans and campaigns to support revenue objectives and grow the customer base in our primary industry sectors, including construction, transportation, agriculture, mining, oil and gas.
  • Lead a collaborative process with stakeholder on coordinating campaign activities in order to maximize buyers’ engagement and sales revenue
  • Stay current with trends and new developments related to assigned market segments and industries. Research and analyze relevant internal and external data to develop market insights and recommendations for review by various stakeholders.
  • Driven by research and data (including industries, customer, transactional and competitive), uncover insights and opportunities that will drive strategies to improve transactions and revenue objectives.
  • Lead a cross-functional process with Marketing, Sales and Operations for Ritchie Bros. International and share the approach on buyer and seller campaign initiatives.
  • Ensure the coordination and follow through the execution of all the campaigns across all platforms and media.
  • Provide macro and micro insight for the territory and sectors responsibility to educate marketing stakeholders in order to improve performance and conversion.
  • Allocate marketing dollars to the most effective tactics in the marketing mix that will provide the most buyer demand, in accordance with others marketing functions within the given budget.
  • Serve as a liaison across departments and functional groups to articulate buyer demand based on equipment and industry specifications.
  • Act as the voice and messenger of your respective region, and dedicated sector to the central marketing function, and vice versa.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for marketing
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MSc preferred)
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
