About the role
- Head of IT & Security Operations ensuring secure cloud-based IT for quantum communication technologies. Leading a small IT team and aligning security, compliance, and business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Reliable, secure, cloud-first IT environment with only necessary on‑premises components
- Clear IT governance, processes and enforceable standards
- Ensure security policies and governance requirements are understood and implemented
- Translate CISO-defined security and compliance requirements into practical operational implementations
- IT budget ownership
- Lead a small team
- Pragmatic mid-term roadmap aligned with growth, risk and compliance needs
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing a small IT/infrastructure team
- Experience managing an IT budget and vendor/supplier environment
- Strong understanding of IT governance and ITIL-aligned service management
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and basic knowledge of identity and endpoint management; comfortable working with Apple environments
- Experience owning incidents, including root cause analysis and implementing remediation/improvement measures
- Solid understanding of networking
- Solid understanding of Linux administration
