About the role
- Applications Engineer creating evaluation platforms and technical documentation for RF GaN and GaAs biasing ICs. Collaborating with teams and supporting customers in communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Design evaluation boards for GaN/GaAs bias controllers and power solutions
- Own and drive creation of technical documentation such as datasheets, evaluation results, customer presentations, and other technical collateral.
- Collaborate closely with design, validation, and product line teams to influence future product development
- Support system-level applications including gate/drain sequencing, pulsed bias control, and telemetry
- Work directly with customers and field teams to provide design-in and debug support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- 5–10 years of experience in analog, mixed-signal IC, and power supply applications and design
- Hands-on experience with GaN or GaAs biasing, RF power amplifier systems, and power management circuits
- Strong lab skills for testing, characterizing, and debugging analog circuits
- Familiarity with I²C/SPI interfaces, Python test automation, and PCB design tools
- Soldering and PCB rework skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
