About the role

  • Applications Engineer creating evaluation platforms and technical documentation for RF GaN and GaAs biasing ICs. Collaborating with teams and supporting customers in communication systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design evaluation boards for GaN/GaAs bias controllers and power solutions
  • Own and drive creation of technical documentation such as datasheets, evaluation results, customer presentations, and other technical collateral.
  • Collaborate closely with design, validation, and product line teams to influence future product development
  • Support system-level applications including gate/drain sequencing, pulsed bias control, and telemetry
  • Work directly with customers and field teams to provide design-in and debug support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • 5–10 years of experience in analog, mixed-signal IC, and power supply applications and design
  • Hands-on experience with GaN or GaAs biasing, RF power amplifier systems, and power management circuits
  • Strong lab skills for testing, characterizing, and debugging analog circuits
  • Familiarity with I²C/SPI interfaces, Python test automation, and PCB design tools
  • Soldering and PCB rework skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
