Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and user research.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases for development and QA teams.
  • Analyze user behavior, business rules, and system workflows to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements.
  • Support Product Managers in maintaining and refining the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized.
  • Assist in preparing and updating product roadmaps, release plans, and sprint goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, development, and testing teams during sprints to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered accurately.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, and UAT cycles.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to validate requirements, clarify expectations, and address questions or gaps in understanding.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, workflows, user guides, and release notes.
  • Ensure traceability from requirements to delivery, validating outcomes through UAT and reviewing test results with QA.
  • Contribute to establishing and improving best practices for requirements management and documentation within the team.
  • Mentor junior analysts, helping them improve requirement gathering skills, documentation quality, and stakeholder communication.
  • Facilitate alignment across teams by promoting clear communication, structured analysis, and customer centric thinking.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within technology, consulting, or product‑driven organizations.
  • Strong experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and BRDs/FRDs.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills, including the ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, QA, and product teams to support feature delivery.
