About the role
- IT System Integration Engineer developing IT hardware and software integrations. Focused on CI/CD and system maintenance in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, configuration and installation of IT hardware and software components
- Deployment and maintenance of lab and test environments (Windows and Linux), including servers, clients, IP networks and virtual machines (VMs)
- Development of concepts for automated and manual configuration and installation of systems
- Maintenance and further development of existing systems, including adjustments and troubleshooting of hardware and software configurations
- Development and maintenance of toolchains/pipelines for CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment)
- Automation of build and release processes across the CI/CD pipeline through the creation of scripts and programs
Requirements
- Completed technical degree, e.g., in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Professional experience required, particularly in software development
- Solid knowledge of software and server hardware
- Administrative experience with Windows and Linux systems (especially network configuration and firewalls)
- Experience with software and build-pipeline development (e.g., C++, Python, Jenkins, Bamboo)
- Command-line tools (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)
- Virtualization and container technologies (VMware, Docker, Proxmox, Podman)
- Independent, efficient working style and a creative approach
- Willingness to engage with customers, e.g., during system installations
- Excellent German and English skills
