About the role

  • Advice RN responsible for triaging calls and providing healthcare options at Providence. Educate callers on health care advice, risks, and wellness opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for triaging incoming calls, assessing needs and providing appropriate healthcare options
  • Facilitate referral to primary providers, health care facilities and community resources
  • Educate the caller regarding immediate health care advice, possible health related risks, wellness/prevention behaviors and opportunities

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Case management or acute care experience in a healthcare setting; 2 years preferred.
  • 2 years - Acute or ambulatory nursing experience; 7 years preferred.
