Responsibilities
Build lasting member relationships with every interaction
Troubleshoot and resolve member questions
Perform a variety of financial transactions
Educate members on the products and services that best meet their financial needs
Maintain appropriate knowledge of core systems and CCU's products and services
Answer incoming calls and member questions in a prompt and professional manner
Present and explain beneficial products to members
Open new memberships, accounts, and services
Assist members with requests for account research needs
Collect information needed to process outgoing bank wires and ensure accuracy and safety
Proactively educate members on the ease of doing business with CCU through electronic service channels
Assume responsibility for other projects or duties as required or assigned
Requirements
Prior call center or customer service experience preferred but not required
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to connect well with members via telephone
Highly flexible
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
Confidence in promoting appropriate products and services
Technical aptitude with experience using mobile banking and other apps or financial services
A bachelor’s degree or other form of secondary education preferred, commensurate work experience will also be considered
