Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy full stack web applications tailored to transportation and warehousing processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing software systems by troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing new features.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices in software development.
- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver incremental improvements.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance system capabilities such as real-time tracking and data analytics.
- Document software designs, workflows, and technical processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a full stack developer with proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong back-end development skills using languages like Java, C#, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including designing schemas and writing efficient queries.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Fluency in English or Spanish to effectively communicate within the team and with stakeholders.
- Experience working in the transportation, logistics, or warehousing industry (preferred).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling applications (preferred).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
