About the role
- Full Stack Developer involved in the full development life cycle of software solutions at Major Tool. Implementing designs, maintaining existing programs, and collaborating within a team.
Responsibilities
- Participating in the full development life cycle of software solutions including designing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting.
- Implementing designs by utilizing development languages and tools as per design specifications.
- Routine review of solutions and suggest aesthetic improvements.
- Working closely with subject matter experts to understand the requirements to implement different tasks.
- Seeing a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Designing user interfaces.
- Developing back-end applications.
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices.
- Responsible for application performance and tuning.
- Responsible for project execution from conception to finished product.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Supporting network and database administrators as needed.
- Maintaining and upgrading in-house programs.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS (preferred), React and Amber.
- Proficiency with languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and/or .Net.
- Familiarity with database technology such as MS SQL and Oracle.
- Gupta/OpenText experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
