About the role
- Professional Services Data Solutions Architect at Prophecy, revolutionizing AI-native data preparation and analysis. Design and deliver modern data solutions for customers while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and analytics layers
- Translate customer business requirements into technical architectures and implementation plans
- Own technical solutioning during Professional Services engagements, from discovery through delivery and handoff
- Set clear expectations with customers on the next steps and then meet or exceed them
- Ensure solutions align with best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to the Prophecy IDE
- Assist with issues around third-party integrations with the Prophecy environment
- Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering during pre-sales for technical discovery, solution validation, and scoping
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides
- Mentor consultants and engineers within Professional Services
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture
- 4+ years of experience in professional services or customer facing consulting role delivering data solutions
- Advanced skills in Spark
- Hands on DBT experience
- Strong work experience in production issue resolution
- You have built managed and maintained all aspects of ETL including development, bug fixing, monitoring and debugging of jobs
- Expert in Spark architecture and experience with Databricks/Snowflake environment configuration and management
- Experience with Git and CI/CD technologies
- Technology experience in SQL, Databricks/ Hadoop/ Spark Experienced in a variety of tools and products including Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure, Hadoop, CDP etc.
- The ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them to stakeholders verbally and in writing.
