Responsibilities
Own and articulate a clear, compelling global product vision for Progyny’s international markets, aligned with company strategy and long-term growth objectives.
Act as a thought leader in women’s and family health, leveraging deep knowledge of the global women’s health landscape to drive product innovation.
Champion the voice of the member and customer, translating real-world pain points into intuitive, high-impact product solutions.
Lead global product strategy across regulated healthcare systems and insurance-adjacent infrastructure, including claims, reimbursement and payments.
Facilitate alignment and decision-making across a broad group of stakeholders, including founders, Sales, Member Experience, Finance, Engineering, and Legal.
Drive end-to-end product ownership, from ideation and discovery through build, launch, and go-to-market execution.
Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver products that are scalable, intuitive, and held to a high bar for quality.
Maintain a strong eye for detail and aesthetics, ensuring product experiences meet exceptional standards for usability, clarity, and design excellence.
Requirements
Degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare, life sciences, public health, medicine, health economics, business, or engineering, or equivalent experience in healthcare or health-tech product leadership.
Proven experience leading global product strategy in healthcare, health tech, benefits, or adjacent industries.
Strong understanding of the women’s health ecosystem, with the ability to credibly engage as a domain expert and thought leader.
Medical or clinical background strongly preferred, or equivalent experience working closely with medical teams and healthcare systems.
Alternatively, experience as a founder or early product leader in a women’s health startup.
Demonstrated experience navigating international healthcare requirements and regulatory complexity.
Solid understanding of insurance-adjacent product components, such as claims processing, reimbursements, and payment mechanisms.
Strong product sense with experience delivering multi-sided platforms and complex workflows.
Exceptional ability to influence, align, and facilitate across senior stakeholders in a fast-moving, global environment.
Hands-on mindset with a track record of turning strategy into execution.
High attention to detail and strong aesthetic judgment in product and UX decisions.
