About the role
- QA Engineer ensuring high software quality through manual and automated testing at Progyny Global. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams for seamless product development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Automate test cases using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or TestCafe.
- Perform manual testing where necessary, covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Track and report bugs using JIRA.
- Ensure smooth CI/CD integration by embedding testing into deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test requirements and improve QA workflows.
- Contribute to performance and security testing efforts (optional but a plus).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or TestCafe.
- Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, and bug tracking.
- Familiarity with JIRA or other bug-tracking tools.
- Experience working in agile development teams.
- Ability to integrate test automation into CI/CD workflows.
- It would be nice if you had:
- Programming experience with JavaScript or Python for test scripting.
- API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools).
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
