About the role
- Supplier Quality Engineer ensuring quality of supplied components and products for Dentsply Sirona. Collaborating globally to optimize supplier relationships and processes while adhering to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Work with suppliers to ensure specifications and requirements are met.
- This includes: Design reviews with suppliers to transfer components and product knowledge
- Planning, executing, and evaluating PPAPs together with suppliers
- Building and maintaining strong collaborative supplier relationships
- Working with suppliers to resolve issues efficiently through NC and CAPA systems
- Participating in Supplier Audits in accordance with ISO 13485
- Supporting the Quality Control team by translating component drawings and specifications into inspection and control plans for incoming component verification
Requirements
- An academic degree in engineering, science or equivalent professional background
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably as SQE
- Worked with PPAP processes
- Planned and participated in supplier audits
- Background in advanced measurement and inspection methods, including hands-on experience
- Solid understanding and interpretation skill of technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge in ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR 2017/745 and FDA Quality System Regulation or experience from other highly regulated industries
- Excellent communication skills in English and good communication skills in Swedish, both written and verbally.
