About the role

  • Manage the ward and resources effectively
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix of nursing experience and skills
  • Monitor nursing staff rota and maintain effective rota management and erostering standards
  • Ensure nursing team receives clinical supervision, appraisal, CPD requirements and mandatory training
  • Address development shortfalls and training issues

Requirements

  • Registered with the NMC or HCPC
  • At least two years’ supervisory experience in a relevant care setting
  • Trained Assessor/Supervisor
  • Computer literate
  • Committed to ongoing professional development
  • Experience in clinical audit, service improvement, and managing multiple priorities
  • Previous experience supervising nursing or care staff
