About the role
- Senior Demand Planner for the Baltics region with PPG, leading demand planning processes and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to enhance forecast accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and weekly forecasting process at both the detail (short term) and aggregate (mid and long term) level to create a 0 -18 month rolling demand plan which becomes the basis for operating plans and financial projections
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams on demand plan preparation and execution
- Analyze data to translate it into insights. Challenge data sources and assumptions and ensure that the demand plan reflects commercial actions and assumptions in a fact-based way.
- Drive the understanding of forecast changes including main drivers (volume, price, competition, etc.)
- Create scenarios through identification of demand risks and opportunities, and through application of sensitivity analyses in price, market share, and competitive data.
- Drive reduction of forecast bias and improvement of forecast mix.
Requirements
- Degree in science, business or technical
- Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Knowledge of SAP systems, experience with SAP APO nice to have
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong influencing skills and leadership experience driving for improved learning and change
- Experience in close cooperation with commercial and/or general business management function
- Communicative level of English
